Far East Essex
A decent storm chase across a part of Essex I've not driven through before. Once again a last minute decision to get in the car and chase. I'm usually aware of the potential for storms, but having been bitten with so many disappointments its easy to the let the pessimism creep in, and ultimately end up staying home. So I headed out, and once I got East of Bradwell there was some flat open fields to grab a few shots from. The storms weren't bad at all. Nothing like the brief transient supercell (with horizontal funnel!) I witnessed a few years earlier, but I will definitely take it. I even bumped into another storm chaser/photographer, which is a first for me around here.
