Hail Showers
Back to some of my more regular photography today with some messy hail showers on a brutal North Westerly wind flow. Not a lot of wind shear to hold these together for long (or much energy in general), but they still managed some soft hail amongst the stronger updrafts and even some weak Mammatus (2nd image) on the back edge. Some lively and very cold gusts downstream of these but no lighting or thunder...unsurprisingly.
