Inflight Action
These turned out quite nice for some of my first inflight shots. The bird detection on the OM1 is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here, but this is really fun to mess around with. The Robin shot was using the ProCapture feature at ISO 10,000! I'm really impressed with the high ISO performance of the OM1 when compared to my old EM1-III. There really is a noticeable improvement, and along with some denoising in Lightroom the images really clean up nice. I'd love to see how the camera would cope with some Aurora Photography, as that is typically pushing the ISO higher, but I suspect those opportunities have peaked for me, at least at this latitude.
The Gull shots were just plain old SH2 mode, at some ridiculous frames-per-second that I can't remember now (50fps maybe?). Those two are perhaps less eye catching than the Robin but equally impressive to me in how the camera can capture this sort of thing.
